The Children's Museum of New Hampshire is a wonderful place for families, with rotating hands-on exhibits throughout and a dedicated room for little ones age 3 and under. Founded in 1983 in Portsmouth, the museum moved to its current Dover location in 2008.
The entire facility is wheelchair-accessible, and service animals are always welcome. Additionally, noise-cancelling headphones are available to borrow at the front desk.

The YMCA of the Seacoast is a great spot for family recreation, offering a variety of camps (both summer camps and school vacation camps), open swim opportunities and swim lessons, kids' yoga, classes, and more. Click here for current info.
Free child care is available during certain hours while mom and dad work out, too, and there are parents' nights out for (potty-trained) kids ages 3 and up.

Camp Allen was founded in 1931 by the Boston Lions Club (later Boston Kiwanis) in partnership with the Manchester Lions Club as a retreat for young girls who were blind.

The Dover Ice Arena provides the recreational activities of public skating, hockey, youth programs and special events throughout the year. It is the home facility for Dover Youth Hockey, the Great Bay Figure Skating Club, and six local high school teams.
The Arena hosts birthday parties, field trips, and Camp Kool, a summer day camp.
