The Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad is located in the heart of the Lakes Region of central New Hampshire. Stations are located in the lakeside village of Meredith and also on the Weirs Beach boardwalk.
You'll have the option to enjoy a nostalgic one or two-hour excursion along the western shore of Lake Winnipesaukee and Paugus Bay, always within view of the lake! Foliage tours leave for Plymouth in season also.
First built in 1849, the railroad was one of the primary routes for business and vacation travel between Boston and Montreal.
