The Center offers day camps for children from 3 1/2 years old to 5th grade during regional public and private school vacation weeks and for children from 3 1/2 years old to 8th grade all summer long.
Sessions are offered by the day and by the week, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each session is based around a different theme that includes outdoor exploration, takes advantage of the season and is full of hands-on activities. Lessons incorporate the rich natural and historic resources of Odiorne Point State Park and the Gulf of Maine, current ocean science and lots of fun. All children gain skills that positively impact their well-being and development.
Sessions are designed for each age group. Sessions for Safari campers (K-5) have activities and content that build on what students learn in school. At 4th grade campers begin to learn how to be citizen scientists; content becomes richer and exploration extends further afield, venturing throughout Odiorne to discover new habitats.
