Popovers is a wonderful, centrally located spot to meet a friend for coffee, lunch, or an anytime-of-day popover.
In addition to great food and coffee, Popovers also features a full bakery with gorgeous cakes and all manner of tempting sweets (some of which are gluten-free). You can also enjoy a beer, wine, or cordial with your meal if you like. Popovers' sidewalk seating - ideally situated for Portsmouth people-watching - is highly coveted during the warmer months.
The kids' menu features reliable standbys like PB&J and grilled cheese, but there are plenty of things most kids will like on the regular menu, too.

Popovers is one of my very favorite spots in Portsmouth, for both eating and people-watching.
You can grab a table by one of the big windows, or outside on the sidewalk on summer months, and just watch the world go by.
