Philbrick's Fresh Market is chock-full of delicious produce, cheeses, wines, meats, fish, and pantry and household staples.
 
The Portsmouth location also boasts a great salad bar and an outpost of Me & Ollie's bakery.
 
If you're further south in Seacoast FGS territory, check out the North Hampton location.

Philbrick's Fresh Market is one of my very favorite places to food shop--everything, from produce to housewares, is thoughtfully arranged and carefully selected.

I love browsing through their extensive collection of cheeses, as well as the deli section (which has a wide array of ready-to-go entrees and sides that almost always tempt me to bag whatever I was planning on cooking for dinner and taking advantage of their efforts instead).

The selection is good but not overwhelming, so if you're 100% fixated on your brand of whatever you may not always find it, but it's a safe bet that Philbrick's has something even better in that category. ...more
