If you have not yet been to Moxy, run--don't walk! My husband and I had a great meal there the other night. The service and atmosphere are fun and unpretentious, and the food is wonderful.

Our server recommended three plates per person, as a baseline. Being the overachievers we are, we had eight total (plus dessert). Eric put it well when he said all the food is just concentrated and distilled into a perfect version of whatever it is you're eating.

We didn't have our kids with us, but it's a very kid-friendly place in that there is enough of a bustling din that even loud or squirmy kids will not disrupt fellow diners (there was actually a cute baby a few tables down from us). There is not, however, a ton of extra space for strollers or assorted kid paraphernalia.

The tapas format is kid-friendly as well, as the portions are small and food comes out on a regular basis throughout the meal--no endless wait for those entrees to appear!

All in all, highly recommended--a great opportunity to experience the work of a talented chef in a casual, laid-back setting....more
