We have hosted 3 au pairs through Cultural Care and are currently awaiting our 4th. It has been a great experience for our family. Our children view the au pair as a family member, not a babysitter, which they really love. We have appreciated having reliable, relatively affordable, in home childcare and learning about different cultures and traditions. When you have the right match with an au pair, it is great -- it feels like having a friend or family member living with you. We have stayed in touch with our old au pairs and two have come back to visit us. Cultural Care has been very good and their local childcare coordinator, Angi Weiser-Smith, is awesome. She organizes meetings for the au pairs and provides support to au pairs and families. I can't say enough good things about her! ...more
