The large and flexible non-commercial gallery accommodates installation, non-conventional, and site-specific work from nationally recognized artists as well as the emerging talent in our own backyard.
Block Six, the restaurant at 3S, explores the idea of food as programming — drawing influence from the art and performance surrounding it and channeling that energy into simple, affordable and approachable locally sourced cuisine.
The 12 artist studios underscore the notion that 3S is more than a place where art is presented but also a place for creation. The affordable studios demonstrate 3S's dedication to integrating creatives and artists into the fabric of Portsmouth's downtown.
