Brother-sister team Liz and Dan Faiella performs music from the Celtic and New England traditions. Raised on fiddle contests, contradances, and kitchen ceilidhs, the duo brings to life the music of their New Hampshire roots with Liz’s lyrical fiddle and vocals and Dan’s spirited low whistle and guitar.

The Akwaaba Dance and Drum Ensemble brings the rhythms and sounds of Africa to the Newmarket Millspace on Saturday, May 30, from 2-5 p.m. Produced by the award-winning Newmarket Heritage Festival, “Heritage at the Mills” features a high-energy performance by the Akwaaba Ensemble from 4-5 p.m.

The Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC), which moved to its current location on Islington St. in 2013, is a nonprofit community music and arts school serving the Seacoast area.
PMAC offers music and art lessons for kids and adults (both one-on-one and in group settings), as well as youth and adult music ensembles, Kindermusic classes, and art and music therapy.
