Lake Winnipesaukee is a 72-square-mile glacial lake in the heart of central New Hampshire's Lakes Region area. It is a popular spot year-round for boating, swimming, and all manner of water sports, including snowmobiling and ice fishing when it freezes over in the wintertime.

Portsmouth Kayak Adventures offers kayak and stand-up paddleboard tours and rentals, as well as bike rentals. They also offer a summertime kids' kayak camp for a variety of ages and skill levels, and various instructional kayak classes.
