Peirce Island is a 27-acre island owned by the city of Portsmouth that separates the Piscataqua River from the Portsmouth's South End. It features an outdoor pool, walking paths, playgrounds, and boat launches.
 
The park is open for fishing and boat launching 24 hours a day, year round. For all other activities, park hours are:
 
  • June 1 - October 1: Sunrise - 11:00 pm
  • October 2 - May 31: Sunrise - 7:00 pm

Seabrook Beach features two miles of public sandy beaches and associated dune and salt marsh environments. Activities include fishing, seashore recreation, clamming, and related activities in the Seabrook/Hampton Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean.

Whale watches and deep sea fishing are available on local party boats. There is a pier facility for pleasure and commercial boat launching available to residents.
